What we understand in art is and was laid down many, many centuries ago, and how does it compare to the now, this age of man’s existence; it depends . . . Two Principles: what we “SEE & PERCEIVE”!

“What we see with our eyes there is no question. But, what the HEART PERCIEVES—that is another matter.” Likewise, with photography “We don’t see what is real; we see WHAT we are.” Through photography with its true life imagery it allows me to Awaken, Expose, and Comfort the SOUL. There is an "intensity of the moment” that no other medium can capture like photography does.

Yes there is that wonder and awe “of the Medium”, But I am in wonder and awe of the subjects, the moment, “LIFE”, who, what, why and how?

Paul Salter, a dear and trusted friend, recommended I view a documentary of Gordon Parks. it was Life changing . . . the images along with the experiences in my life began to come to life. Like me, he (Gordon Parks), also had no formal education or training in photography.
These are some of my Images that cover five aspects: Landscape, Abstract, Still, Photojournalism/Documentary, and Illustrative. All aspects of photography are necessary for me to express my love for Life and People . . . and a shout out of PRAISE to the Creator of all things!!

“Hands of Buck Buchanan” who at 103 Years Young of St. Simons Island Georgia died in June of 2019 . Commissioned in 2013 by his closest and dear friend, Paul Salter. In Buck’s hands are lines that cannot be traced . . . Value Liberty, value FREEDOM and LIFE!
